5.15.23 - One goal of the Mayor’s Task Force on Homelessness is to recommend a  location for a permanent, low barrier shelter. On May 4th, they passed a  resolution not to recommend any shelter location within 1,000 feet of  any school. PASS thanks the Task Force for helping  to ensure a safe environment for Saratoga’s school children.

PASS requested the City Council adopt the same criteria, which they will  discuss during their next meeting on Tuesday, May 16th, and appreciates  their thoughtful consideration on this important topic.
